General Information

The seafearing Vikings originated from the most Northern parts of Europe. They used a language of symbols to make engravings onto rune stones, many of these exist until today. These Old Futhark inscriptions from over a thousand years old can be deciphered using these RUNA cards from the box.

Vikings were expansive, forceful and used guidance from their personal Rune Masters which they consulted on their plans, actions and struggles. The Runes were typically engraved on bones, or wood and be thrown on a blanket. Depending on their landing positions between the Runes, complex interpretations can be made.

Around 1000 years have passed since the Viking era. Their Runes are pretty relevant and popular until today. They are appreciated by Energy Workers and Healers for their powerful divinational abilities.

We do not necessarily need to have all the secret knowledge like old Runa Masters to enjoy Runa in full. Sunman have created this practical set with everything you need to enter the fascinating world of Rune play.
